Cherokee welcomes NC Symphony

The North Carolina Symphony will host a special concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at the Chief Joyce Dugan Cultural Arts Center at the Cherokee Central School.
The group will perform the music of John Williams, Copland’s “Appalachian Spring” and selections from Grieg’s “Peer Gynt.” Local support for this event is received from the Swain County Community Foundation and the Balsam Mountain Preserve Gift Fund for Jackson County.
