Partner content: What To Do With... A container of plain Greek Yogurt?

Plain Greek yogurt is a great source of protein and calcium. Here are 5 ideas on ways you can use it: 

  1. Put some Greek yogurt in your fruit smoothies to increase protein. Use Greek yogurt along with seasoning to make dips. Substitute for all or part of the sour cream/mayonnaise.

     

  2. Stir in honey or maple syrup to Greek yogurts and use it to top fresh berries for dessert. Make a fruit parfait by layering Greek yogurt, fresh chopped fruit and granola. 

  3. Use Greek yogurt instead of some or all of the mayonnaise when making chicken, egg or potato salads.

  4. Mix Greek yogurt with buttermilk and ranch seasoning to make a buttermilk ranch dressing that is extra creamy and even has some protein.
