Question: “Are white foods bad for you?”
Answer: Food is not inherently “bad” based on its color. There are a variety of white foods, like white fruits and vegetables: turnips, parsnips, potatoes, white corn, bananas (once you peel them), garlic and onions that are all “white foods” and all contain vitamins, minerals and fiber and can be part of a healthy diet. It is important to eat a variety of foods and add fruits and vegetables of different colors to your plate.
