Jackson schedules mercury meeting in Cashiers

The Jackson County Department of Public Health has scheduled a public meeting to discuss increased levels of mercury in walleye and large mouth bass at Lake Glenville. 

The meeting will be held at the Cashiers public library at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15. North Carolina Division of Public Health’ s Toxicologist Dr. Kenneth Rudo will be at the meeting to answer the public’s questions.
