Heart to rock Harrah’s

art heartRenowned classic rock act Heart will hit the stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at Harrah’s Cherokee.

The acclaimed female group is known for their chart-topping hits “Magic Man” and “Barracuda.” Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson first showed the world that women could rock when their band stormed the charts in the 1970. Not only did the Wilson sisters lead the band, they wrote the songs and played the instruments, too, making them the first women in rock to do so.

Tickets start at $42.

At our inception 20 years ago, we chose to be different. Unlike other news organizations, we made the decision to provide in-depth, regional reporting free to anyone who wanted access to it. We don’t plan to change that model. Support from our readers will help us maintain and strengthen the editorial independence that is crucial to our mission to help make Western North Carolina a better place to call home. If you are able, please support The Smoky Mountain News.
