Suspects sought in Clyde stabbing incident

stabbingsuspectsTwo Haywood County men and a woman are being sought in the stabbing of a 33-year-old Clyde man Sunday.

Haywood County deputies were dispatched to Haywood Regional Medical Center shortly after 3 a.m. in reference to a stabbing victim seeking help in the emergency room. Officers arriving on the scene discovered a male victim who had sustained injury consistent with wounds from a bladed weapon.

Further investigation indicated the man was attacked by three people at an apartment at 75 Forest Drive near Clyde.

Haywood County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating:

•Christopher Ian Arwood, white male, 31 years old, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing about 195 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. Arwood is charged with felonious malicious assault in secret, felonious assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and felony conspiracy.

•Christopher Lewis Hester, white male, 30 years old, about 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing about 240 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. Hester is charged with felonious assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and felony conspiracy.

•Stephanie Lauretta Bauer, a.k.a. Stephanie Arwood, Stephanie Lapari, Stephanie Trull; white female, 34 years old, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. Bauer has been charged with felonious assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and felony conspiracy.

The victim was transported to Mission Hospital for treatment. He has since been released.

The investigation is continuing.
