The Strawberry Jam Half Marathon/5K will return for its second year Saturday, May 20, in Bryson City. The half marathon will start at 7 a.m. and the 5K at 7:15 a.m.

Runners will go twice through the outer edge of Deep Creek in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park before following a section of the Tuckeseegee River and then to the finish at Darnell Farms. Aid stations with water and Gatorade will be set up every 2 miles.
