Grants available through Haywood Health Foundation

Haywood Health Foundation announced its Annual Request For Proposals for Grants Pertaining to Unmet Healthcare Needs in Haywood County.

HHF’s grant program will provide grants to Haywood County non-profit organizations, government agencies and schools for healthcare initiatives, as well as educational and leadership programs related to improving healthcare in Haywood County. 

The grant application should include a description of the grant’s direct impact on the improvement of the health and well-being of Haywood County residents.

Grant proposals can be addressed to a specific healthcare program, health educational materials or equipment. Initiatives can range broadly, such as maternal/infant health, chronic disease-related initiatives, nutrition, substance abuse, dental care for an underserved population, mental health care, senior healthcare issues, environmental health issues, obesity and social determinants of health.

Grant applications are due April 9 by 4 p.m. Completed grant applications will be accepted by mail at Haywood Health Foundation, 262 Leroy George Drive, Clyde, NC  28721, or emailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

The final recommendations will be presented for approval by the HHF board at its June meeting. All applicants will be notified of the results.
