With higher prices on eggs due to the bird flu (H5N1), many people may be changing up their breakfast proteins. Check the nutrition facts on packaged items for the protein amount per serving. Here are some other ways you can get protein for your breakfast meal:

• Breakfast meats or non-meat alternatives

• Cottage Cheese

• Greek Yogurt

• Fairlife milk

• Soy dairy alternative or cow’s milk

Related Items

• Cheese

• Protein powder

1. Make a smoothie with Fairlife milk, Greek yogurt, and a frozen banana. Sweeten with some honey or sugar substitute and add a sprinkle of cinnamon. Or add protein powder to regular or soy non-dairy beverage.

2. Spread nut butter on toast and have with a glass of Fairlife milk.

3. Melt cheese on bread (cheese toast)

4. Cottage cheese with sliced banana, berries or pineapple

5. Top toast with cottage cheese and avocado.
