Why does the label on milk list sugar?
Milk contains lactose or milk sugar, which occurs naturally in the milk, Unflavored and unsweetened milk has no added sugar.

Like humans, a dog may or may not have lactose intolerance. If your dog enjoys milk that’s great as it is nutritious for them. If you pup has lactose intolerance you will be able to tell pretty quickly as they may have mild symptoms like gas or more severe symptoms like diarrhea. If your dog can’t tolerate milk they still may be able to eat yogurt or cheeses without any problems as these are fermented/aged products with less milk sugar.
