Quarantine has taken an emotional toll on all of us. Some more than others, but we have all been affected by it. I’m getting to a period where it feels like I’m living the same day over and over and over again. Get up, go to virtual school, eat, do homework, eat again, sleep, repeat. To be honest, I’m going a bit crazy. 

As a nation we are still doing a really poor job at eating our vegetables. Many of us don't even eat one serving a day! What's stopping us? 

The U.S. Forest Service wants public input on a proposal to build 42 miles of new trails near Old Fort in McDowell County.

I remember first taking the Myers Brigg in high school for a school project and finding it fascinating. Since then, I have taken every personality test that is put in front of me. So it is easy to see how I became an Enneagram enthusiast.

Gladys Knight, “Empress of Soul,” and her husband William McDowell recently received their COVID-19 vaccinations in Haywood County. The couple, who reside in North Carolina and created a community center and nonprofit RHS Community Foundation in Canton, wish to set an example for others and dispel vaccination fears within the community.
